Julio A. Garcia
Julio Garcia PR is a Miami public relations firm led by a South Florida PR agency veteran with more than thirty years of experience. Our founder established the firm in 2002, and over the years we have helped many businesses and organizations to achieve media and marketing results that exceed even their loftiest goals. We focus on working with clients in the legal, financial, real estate, healthcare, insurance and technology industries, and we help them to implement highly effective communications initiatives that include media coverage as well as blogs, websites, e-mail marketing, newsletters, social media, and other marketing and communications strategies.
Julio has served as a direct marketing, writing and media relations specialist for one of Florida’s largest PR firms, where he was responsible for devising and implementing marketing, media and Hispanic outreach programs for various financial services firms and large corporations. These included The Miami Herald, World Fuel Services, Compuquip Technologies, and others. He also previously served as the media relations director for the PR division of a Coral Gables advertising agency that specialized in luxury residential real estate.
Julio began his career with RBB, one of the largest PR agencies in Florida, where he developed, managed and executed marketing and PR programs and initiatives for AT&T, FPL, Greenberg Traurig, The Miami International Boat Show, Fidelity Investments, Prudential Securities, Sony, and many others. Much of his work has involved domestic Hispanic and Latin American media relations and marketing efforts, and he has conducted on-air Spanish-language interviews on behalf of his clients.
Julio also has extensive experience in law firm marketing and public relations. He has worked extensively with prominent South Florida law firms that focus on a wide variety of practice areas. He also has a great deal of experience in healthcare PR and marketing, including the development and execution of media relations programs for the Mt. Sinai Medical Center and Florida Medical Center hospitals in South Florida.
Julio has served as a contributing writer for South Florida CEO magazine, and he earned a bachelor’s degree with majors in both English and communications from James Madison University. He lives in East Kendall with his wife and two children.
